Howard Zinn: "On Human Nature and Aggression."

Excellent wee talking head piece from YouTube featuring Howard Zinn on the subject of human nature and aggression. There isn't anything particularly revelatory in the clip as to why it is humans feel or do not feel compelled to fight in wars, but Zinn expresses his views in such clear and concise language that even the most ardent keyboard warrior will consider it calm and considered. And if they can't understand the point Zinn is making, then they are just asking for a slap.

Hat tip to Alan J. at the Mailstrom blog.

A slap, or else a session reading of "The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness" by Eric Fromm.

Then again.....moves away from that unintended horror called Chinese "Political Education."

Cheeky bastard.

I thought you hadn't placed it on your blog' cos you were too busy posting ten YouTube clips of Tommy Sheridan on your page.

Does Gail know, and will I get an invite to the engagement bash? Word of warning, though. make sure it's you and not Tommy who picks the best men for the wedding.

Tommy didn't have much luck last time round. ;-)
