Never had a favourite goal myself.
I go loopy everytime I see Gareth Edward's try for the Barbarians against the All Blacks in that famous rugby match from 1973 though.
I guess what makes something great is the build and and spectacular finish, which ol' Carlos goal had.
Perhaps as a Gillingham fan, you have a favourite throw in?
It's funny you say that, because....
Last game of the 1986/7 season. The Gills lead Bolton 1-0. Everything depends on a result going against our bete noir, Swindon Town. News filters through that things ARE going our way. A massive roar erupts around Priestfield stadium as a throw in is taken.
The Gills make the play-offs! (They lost in the play-off final replay 2-0 to...Swindon.)
Of course I knew that, and was lining the anecdote up nicely for you to tell.
You didn't imagine I was being sarcastic, did you?
