Don't know how good the film is, but judging from my inability to get hold of him, this might be an appropriate film for my cousin from Blackpool. In fact, I rather suspect it might be appropriate for the whole of Blackpool for a few days.
Yeah, they deserved it on the day. (I still like Cardiif, though.)
They should just enjoy the summer because it's going to be a bumpy ride next season.
My cousin reckons there's a chance they may be playing some of their early season games at the Reebok. They'll enjoy driving past Preston for the big games.
Playing at the Reebok?
Understandable, I guess, but I'd be gutted. I like the romanticism of EPL games being played at a ramshackle Bloomfield Road.
Bloomfield road isn't ramshackle. Check out the stragnely hypnotic website called "photos satellite stades de foot" and you'll quickly see what is the problem.
Just put in "Stades de foot". Find the Angleterre page and Bloomfield is second last. The Ecosse page will bring back some memories if you were ever into hang gliding.
