Is this the same guy who does cartoons for Aufheben? I thought their cartoon about Harry Cleaver was the worst thing I'd ever seen, but this beats it. Congratulations!

No idea. Haven't seen a live copy of Aufheben since 2004. (Now that you've tantalised me, you'll have to provide a link to the Cleaver cartoon.)

TBH, I thought that the worst political cartoons to appear in the Standard were those Paul Petard ones from around about 1999/2000.

But I would say that, wouldn't I?

Just realised that my only comment on this blog for a long time was a negative one. Not very Christmassy of me. So congratulations on doing all the work to get that socialist thinkers series up and running! Great stuff, especially look forward to learning more about Martov.
Happy New Year!

PS Aufheben have very wisely not put their painful cartoons up on their website.

Too late you miserable git.

I've already taken umbrage, and I'm sending the chaps to batter you senseless with a rolled up copy of the November 2003 Socialist Standard.

Best wishes to you and your loved ones for 2008, ;-)
