I think I prefer the original title of 'Men Who Hate Women', but I guess that wouldn't have gone down too well with film distributors in Britain and the US.

Is it any good? Kaffovswinton is going to it while I'm at the Trotters - Trafford game on saturday evening. (She only goes to Rugby League matches.)

I thought it was a good film, and I'm looking forward to the next two films in the series. Good chemistry between the two leading actors.

15 thumbs up. ;-)

I would say, though, that I haven't read the novels so I didn't have any baggage going into the film. I know that will usually hamper someone's enjoyment of a film. (That's my personal opinion, btw. 25 million Harry Potter fans would suggest otherwise.)

And I wasn't really joking when I stated in an earlier comment that they should have retained the original title of 'Men Who Hate Women'. It does you a better sense of the theme of the movie but, of course, that is too grim a thought to contemplate when munching on your popcorn on a Saturday night.

And the film is definitely grim in places.

Let us know what she thought of it.
