Two Goals in Two Games*

In the words of Rich, from the best sitcom on the TV right now:

"Louie, what the fuck just happened?"

And Christian Dailly scored as well!

*Alternative title for this post is 'Ninety Minute Nationalist'.

I like the idea of the Ninety Minute Nationalist.
That was a great score last night and sets us up nicely for the games against Ukraine and France in October. But, the downside of Miller, he picked up another yellow card and misses the France game, the twat. Don't know how he got booked last night, but his yellow card on Saturday when "we" were already 5-0 up was unbelievably stupid.

Will,

the *cough* coverage from the Fox Soccer Channel is pretty good, though the focus is 90% on the EPL. I watch Scotsport each week via a bit torrent site, and though there are a few bars in Manhattan that are known to show the Celtic games, I've yet to drag my carcass out of bed on a Saturday morning to go check them out.

ESPN will be showing the Man Utd Celtic game. I can't fucking wait. ;-)

Reidski,

I believe the term 'ninety minute nationalist' originally came from the pen of William Mcillvanney. Saw the highlights of the Faroe Islands game. They played surprisingly well.

Alan J,

That's bloke a lightweight and he's twenty five years too late. I once went four days on a diet of pacers and the limited edition mint cadbury creme eggs.

And, no, it had bugger all to do with Celtic. ;-)
