Tony Blair publicly agreed that violence in Iraq since the US-led 2003 invasion had been a "disaster". That is not the same as saying that the overthrow of a fascist regime has been a disaster.

I'm dissapointed that you have fallen for this bullshit.

The post linked went on to document Blair's office backtracking of Blair's original statement of Iraq being a "disaster".

Sorry Will, I don't think you have to be an apologist for the atrocities going on in Iraq - that some armchair freedom fighters kid themselves on qualifies as 'anti-imperialism' - to see that the actions of Blair and Bush have absolutely nothing to do with freedom and democracy. Blair gladhanding of Musharraf in the last few days is just the latest confirmation of that.
