A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

Poor old Wolf Blitzer. Playing out the role of impartial journalist, whilst MM rips him a new one. One wonders if Moore would have been allowed to steamroller his way over a journalist on Fux News in the same fashion?

All of this was incoherent (both of them).

Yank shite from beginning to end.

I've watched it several times and I have to say, I'm struck by the importance of openers and closers. The opening line, to direct your perception of all that falls "but first a REALITY CHECK ..." and then the last part with the farther-left than Hugo Chavez bit, to make sure you walk away with the sentiment. Surely, it wasn't planned this way, but it could be used a lesson in persuasive journalism.
(I had to remove and repost due to a grave error in spelling)

Yeah sure France pays higher in taxes, but their population is a lot smaller.
64 million vs. 300 million

yeah, on that whole tax bit, i've been thinking. you know, taxes aren't all that low in the states, and especially when you think of what we get for them. in other countries (where i live - brazil, included) for those taxes not only do you get your garbage picked up (privatized in many parts of the states), but you also get free medical care AND free university studies (if you get into the university, of course). So, what is OUR tax money buying us? Well, we do get representatives and senators ... we get some road paving ... a small portion of the population is on government care ... oh yeah, and we get wars and bribe money pull other countries into them (as in the case of Paraguay ... has anyone read of Martin Almada's statement from Buenos Aires?).
