I think I saw this when it came out. But can't quite remember. I do remember Newsfront, though. Is Heatwave as good as that?
I haven't seen Newsfront but it is definitely on my to watch list.
Mixed feelings about Heatwave. Excellent cast and the film has a wonderful look to it, but after a strong start, for some reason, it seems to peter out in the final third of the film.
I can't work out if the ending was deliberate ambiguous because of a decision made on the part of the writer and the director or if the film makers just presumed that the intended audience had a prior knowledge of the real life incidents that inspired the film. (See here for more details on the true story of the disappearance of Juanita Nielsen.)
