Scary Monsters and Super Cheap

For those of you out there who were under the mistaken impression that Nirvana singing 'The Man Who Sold The World' was the definitive Bowie cover version, old archive footage recently discovered shows that it doesn't even come close.
Hat tip via Harry's Place who got it from Rob Manuel.

Wow, just checked out the clip and I am stunned in a way I have never been stunned before - simply mind-blowing!
Now I don't know whether to thank you or kill you for bringing this into our lives!

Hello Reidksi,

I've got a confession to make; the first time I ever saw the Krankies I thought they were funniest thing that I had ever seen. I remembered I nearly pissed myself laughing but you can't be 28 for ever and I soon realised the errors of my ways and moved onto the more sophisticated comedy of Joe Pasquale and the Chuckle Brothers.

Looking at the old clip suddenly brought back a memory of Kevin Keegan singing 'With A Little Help From My Friends' with Little and Large on their prime time Saturday evening *cough* variety show back in the eighties. I understand that Sid Little is still undergoing the therapy for that performance.

Forget Sid Little's therapeutic needs, Darren, I myself have not been out of counselling ever since witnessing it!
