Playing absolute garbage against the Russ Bray dart app and then I hit a 171 when I was on 191. (And it was the deciding leg.)  🎯

Still took me another 9 darts to hit the winning double. 😂

171'itis

To the best of my knowledge, only the fourth 171 I've ever hit. At least that has been recorded for posterity. I'm actually not bad on the T19s. It's the T18s that kills me. Probably 'cos I don't throw with a straight arm. I need to work on that.

And, of course, I've yet to hit the holy grail . . .  the 3 bullseyes. One day.

. . .  don't ask me why.  Probably thought at the time that I was going to pen a 5,000 word blog post on the intersection of Darts and Revolutionary Socialism but I got sidetracked watching a Still Game marathon.

It happens . . . it happens too often.

Trying to free up some memory on my phone and I found this old Round of 9 from 2020. Except it wouldn't have been a Round of 9 'cos I wouldn't have been playing cricket at the time. In fact, I wouldn't have known how to play cricket at the time. 

It's a companion piece to this other 'cough' Round of 9 that - according to my phone - I hit four minutes earlier. I think I vaguely remember hitting these two shots. I was getting the kids ready for school. 

Before the lockdown . . . before my dartitis . . . and you know what I think was the greater tragedy . . . the greater loss to humanity.

You're not seeing double. I just thought I would repeat myself (with a wee tweak). Quicker than AI, folks.
