Field of Anxious Dreams

I have had three darts dreams in the last two and a half days.

That's not good . . . especially when those dreams doesn't involve me scoring a 9-darter against Luke Littler at a World Championship or bonding with Marisa Tomei over a love of Loxley's latest range of darts.

Instead, my brain insists on me dreaming about snapped darts, darting mishaps involving four darts in the board, and darts matches which resemble that pub scene from An American Werewolf in London.

I need a new hobby.

We are living in a Ted Lasso bizarro world

Posted March 26, 6.26 AM.

I don't usually post about dreams - and I don't want to go into details now - but that dream featuring a drunken Ted Lasso (Jason Sudekis) on the roadside was a bit too close to the bone for my liking. My sub-conscious really does like to do a number on me sometimes.

The great thing about dreams is that when I look at this post again weeks or months from now, I will have no idea what this post is about. (The beauty of not including details.)

Note to self but not to Self

What was that vivid* dream about Will Self all about?

Never read his stuff, probably never will read his stuff and Shooting Stars is a lifetime ago.

I had to mention it on the blog, because this time tomorrow I will have forgotten about it.

*vivid doesn't mean that.

Vauxhall Road . . . Trevor Hebberd . . . FA Cup . . . Paul Walsh . . . Watford . . . Portsmouth . . . Match of the Day.
