A Bryan Cranston meme which doesn't include the words 'Witness Protection Program' . . .

I could never get past season 2 of Breaking Bad . . .  and, trust me, I tried.

I could binge watch Malcolm in the Middle all day. Any season.

Say Hello, Wave Goodbye . . .*

I really should read Marc Almond's autobiography . . . does he have one? I know Dave Ball has published his.

In other news, I just hit a 14-darter. Yes, that still means something to me. Roll out the stats, Russ:

81, 125, 100, 140, 55. (107.4 average)

*Yes, Soft Cell were playing during the composition of this post.

Burn baby, burn!

As I am pottering around on the desktop, another wee chuckle via social media. There's a lot to be said for gallows humour, though I'm still half-convinced that we can save the earth through me recycling the family cardboard toilet rolls week on week.

Ever the optimist . . .  'This time next year we'll have a quorate ADM, Rodders'.

In the voice of Matt Berry . . .

Just stumbled across this on my desktop, and for the life of me I can't remember if I originally found it on Facebook or Twitter. I need more darts jokes like this in my life.

And that final panel is very Matt Berry/IT Crowdish. If you know, you know . . .

Found mooching about on the dashboard . . .

Ireally do need to sort out all my 180s on the blog. This is being posted four months late.

130/50

Apparently it was a "rainy Friday" . . . hence the flash on the picture.

A milestone of sorts

My main motivation when playing lexulous these days is scoring bingos - face it, my win/loss ratio is never going to really shift in any significant way - so 7500 bingos is a milestone of sorts.

A nice, shiny round number. Pleasing to anoraks everywhere.

If you look closely, another nice, shiny round number is just around the corner. Stay tuned.

Carlin comes up trumps

File under the good stuff you find on Facebook.
“It's the old American double standard.

Say one thing, do something different. And, of course, the country is founded on the double standard. That's our history. This country was founded on a very basic double standard. This country was founded by slave owners who wanted to be free…”
[laughter and applause]
~George Carlin, from ‘What Am I Doing in New Jersey?’ (TV Special 1988)
