"• Liam Neeson and Colin Farrell are planning to team up to play uncle and nephew in an Irish family drama, East Of Harlem, according to reports this afternoon. Jim Sheridan, best known for My Left Foot and In the Name of the Father, will direct from his own script. The $20m (£15.4m) film is loosely based on the experiences of Sheridan's own family as immigrants in America. An employee on the project says, "There is a long list of Irish actors wanting to get involved, but Liam and Colin are frontrunners." The movie, set against the backdrop of rural Eire and New York, is due to go into production next spring. The Corrs are in discussions to create the soundtrack." (From here.)
Sounds like it could have been a very different movie.
