By the way, I searched out the Ayn Rand documentary you tipped. It was interesting but, as you predicted, a tad on the uncritical side (there was nothing critical said at all) and a tad sectarian (the whole Nathaniel Branden episode was dismissed in an aside). But we enjoyed it, thanks for the tip! Cheers
Is it good introduction to Rand's ideas?
I would be curious in checking it out. Doesn't matter if it's uncritical.
It's a very comprehensive biography (although largely missing out on her affair with her main disciple, Nathaniel Branden, because he dumped her then became an apostate). I'd say it's a good introduction to her ideas. This short interview does the job pretty well too:
