Neither are in the class of Frankie Worthy's for the Wanderers against Ipswich in '79. (Just put Frank Worthington Super Goal into youtube). But Yakubu's does beg the question as to why the normally sensible David Moyes hasn't recalled Yakubu given how poor Beckford was at the Reebok on sunday. He wasn't alone but he rather stood out for ineptness.
I know the goal you're referring to. A very fine goal but not as fine as Davie Cooper's goal against Celtic in the Dryborough Cup in 78 or 79.
