Departs when 50% + 1 of the seats are filled

Via Ragged Trousered Philanthropist blog:

As someone once said, "A picture is worth a thousand words", but here's a few thousand words anyway:

  • The case for and against reformism
  • Do Anything Now?
  • Is protest really enough?
  • What about the meantime?

It is a brilliant image that does indeed sum up the argument better than many thousands of words. As a proud member of the SPGB, I used to love it. I still love it as an argument against the SPGB! The picture reveals a view of the real world as a sad and pointless roundabout; the real way forward as a bus with a few sad old men on it. Not a view I share!

    " . . . with a few sad old men on it."

*cough" the bus driver is a woman, and the person on the back seat is also a female.

And with the price of fuel at the moment, do you really think they could afford for the reformist roundabout to be traveling at that fast a speed?

*Sigh* It's like being back at the Oxford Union wiping the floor with the likes of Cameron, Miliband and Clegg. ;-)

PS - yeah it is a great cartoon but, yes, life is more complex than that. ;-)

    PS

Now that I think about it again. That's a very small roundabout and an even smaller bus.

    Where is everyone else?

    Funny cartoon.

But where is the guy on the bicycle saying: "You'd think there was only two kinds of transport invented."

Sorry, been away from computers for a while. "Where is everyone else?" is perfect!
