A BLOG OUT OF STEP, OUT OF TIME AND OUT OF BREATH.
To this day, nothing fills me with more dread than the phrase, "Briefly, comrades, the point is this..."
I believe I started a contribution one time with those self-same words at an ADM years ago, only for Dick Donnelly to give out an audible groan.He knew me too well.
I liked it when Hetti was in the chair. Vic Vanni or Dick Donnelly would be allowed to waffle on for 15 minutes, but poor old Frank Simpkins would be cut short as he drew breath after his first sentence. Happy days.
