Chocs Away
It took a while for the knock on effects of me leaving Britain to kick in, but news reaches me that one manufacturer is suffering from my absence. This lot's shareholders are looking on nervously.
Cadbury's has also announced that over 450 jobs are going in its Coolock factory. This from a frim whose adverts carry the slogan, "Cadbury: The Irish for Chocolate."
There is a restaurant in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn that sells cans of Irn Bru for $3 a pop. It's a canny British restaurant called the Chip Shop that has pictures of the Royal Family on the wall alongside pictures of Viz characters.
Only drawback is that they don't serve Cornish Pasties.
