Funny thing is that a few years back an SPGB comrade always used to bang on about Billy Childish and the Buff Medways to me, and would I listen to him (. . . or Billy, for that matter)?
When I said "all the rage", I mean "all the rage amongst a certain section of the DKP youth and those who edit the arts pages in the junge Welt". Along with Atilla the Stockbroker. At least once a year both will be doing some kind of DKP (or one of their 'associated' organisations) benefit round the corner from me. I haven't been to one though.
The lad from Canterbury is all the rage over here.
