I once nearly broke THE Holy Grail (yes, the real one) in a temple built into a hill in North Italy. Its a long story and I thought that the item concerned was a rather long sort of test tube full of coloured water, but it does take all sorts.mikeovswintonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14921482679293649667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791096.post-50061517195407130692010-05-02T07:22:52.684-04:002010-05-02T07:22:52.684-04:00eBay?

And then I'll let you know if I still have it. Sounds like this could be something for Ebay. Maybe that retirment cottage on the Cote D'Azur beckons after all....mikeovswintonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14921482679293649667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791096.post-53425290959794049522010-05-01T16:23:59.309-04:002010-05-01T16:23:59.309-04:00You have a copy? I mention it to people and they're like, 'John Thaw as a revolutionary? Regan? Morse? Don't believe you.'

Of course he was married to the socialist feminist historian Sally Alexander, so that may have had something to do with his choice of acting gig in the late 60s.

Next you'll be telling me that you have a copy of The Revolutionary, starring Jon Voight.

I know of Carl Davis. Acclaimed classical composer who will always be best known as being that American bloke who's married to Jean Boht. Its the sort of classical composer and not the guy who produced Jacki Wilson in Chicago in the 60s for Brunswick and did the Chi-Lites on Dakar.mikeovswintonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14921482679293649667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791096.post-9017615338380160312010-05-01T15:32:14.325-04:002010-05-01T15:32:14.325-04:00Praise Marx and Pass the Ammunition? I once lent it to a leading member of the SWP. He was decidedly NOT amused. John Thaw, and was it Joe Dean as the Liverpool contact? Cracking film - it was shown on BBC 2 very late at night in early 90s and I got it. The bit with the cattle prod is extremely funny in a rather weird sort of way. I can see why a devotee of Lenin might have quailed.mikeovswintonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14921482679293649667noreply@blogger.com
